I don't think he loves here in the Girlfriend sort of way, but he definitely cares for her. Why else would he save her all the time? Hell, when he was about to get shot into space and potentially die, he made sure to tell Tails to look after her.

It could be true, but I personally don't think so. IMO Amy's just some annoying, selfish, over obsessed fangirl, I don't blame Sonic for not liking her that way, I wouldn't either. XD As far as I can see he just views her as a friend, nothing more nothing less, and yes I still think this about Sonic X's Sonic as well.

I am a bit mad that we couldn't see it.
They've been said to go on dates for a while now actually. Those two times in Unleashed and Black Knight and that particular episode of Sonic X (even though it's non-canon).
