I doubt that Sonic would be that secret with his feelings, even if he did harbour some. He doesn't seem to be that kind of guys. For now, all his relationships seem platonic, game-wise.

What does make sense is that marrior gets power of each diiferent mushroomer item as Sonic gets powers by each chaos emerald he bonds with along with new ability by learning it just by seeing it.
