Wouldn't it be totally way past cool if they made a sandbox style Sonic game and the camera/controls were decent enough?

Yeah, a full on sandbox style sonic adventure would be nice, you know sorta how adventure 1 was but FULL sandbox and yes keep the chao gardens. but boss battles would play out like, race shadow to the chaos emerald in(such part of city).

You mean i should and i think i just might because a sandbox sonic adventure 3 would be nice, i should start a post that asks for more ideas for a Sonic Adventure 3 game, and you know how SEGA listens to its fans

Basicly have those same 3 maps and have them as larger open maps that lets you do, basicly what sonic does (run on walls, Run down buildings ect.) and to get to the closed in stages, you have to get to where they are at (SA1 style) and do those stages. And imagine that with the high-res graphics. Lol major fun.
