And i think those enemies in STH2006 are much better than Sonic Unleashed.
Because I love mechanized style instead of cartoon.

They made a lot mistakes, but they also did a lot of things right that I wish they kept doing. It's a shame Sonic fans are so polarizing, everything is either misunderstood perfection or the worst game ever.
I thought it was okay, but there are better games on the list.Erazor wrote:Next to The Black Knight, Sonic 06 is the biggest disgrace to the series I have ever played. The difference between 06's awfulness and Black Knight's it that 06 managed to completely destroy the series' reputation. That left Black Knight with nothing to defame.
It's not flat-out bad like E.T., but what it did to the series' reputation is unforgivable.sykog77 wrote:I thought it was okay, but there are better games on the list.Erazor wrote:Next to The Black Knight, Sonic 06 is the biggest disgrace to the series I have ever played. That was more funny than annoying.Super Racer Z wrote:My eyes!
I really don't like this game or think it has any redeeming factors, except maybe some of the music. The plethora of glitches, bad storytelling, odd character redesigns, slow floaty/super fast floaty character movement, horrendous loading times(Crash Bandicoot on the blue CD for PSX was about as slow, but the entire level loaded, and at least that game was pretty fun), and the terrible ranking system all build up to make a game I hate, and also a game that completely shames the Sonic franchise worse than Sonic Heroes and Shadow the Hedgehog IMO. I would easily group it among my 3 worst 360 games that I own.
There are just no words for that...
I think "It isn't that bad" is supposed to be it.Gamma The Great wrote:Where's the "It was okay" option?
What system did you play 06 on?Miles24 wrote:actually, I didn't find Sonic 2006 to be as bad as others have depicted it to be. It is extremely glitch-ridden, and the load times are extremely annoying, but there have definitely been worse Sonic games released. (Sonic Labyrinth.)
Okay. The reason I asked is because on 360 you can install it onto the HDD. This will shorten load screens by about two or three seconds and greatly improve the frame-rate. It's kind of weird that Sonic 06 of all games doesn't have a mandatory HDD install on the PS3 since it would benefit the most.Miles24 wrote:I played Sonic 2006 on the PlayStation 3.

I highly doubt that it would truly create any large differences though. The load times are about half of the 30 second wait time that others have mentioned, and the game moves at a rather smooth frame rate as it is.
