Who thinks they should do a backstory of Tails?

Exactly. This is called balance. Something Sonic Team seems to have forgotten along with patience and quality work as seen in Sonic Heroes, Shadow The Hedgehog, and partially Sonic The Hedgehog. Yes, develop him and give him a backstroy to add that extra needed layer of depth, but don't go diving to some convoluted ridiculous crap pretty much no one will ever care about anymore and make it this complex system of crossed wires. No. Give hima back story deep enough to make him more interesting overall as a character, but not so deep you can never follow it.

A backstory? Maybe in one game. A prequel telling of how he met Sonic and such, but then never speak of it again except in bios and junk.

Never speaking of it again might be a bit much honestly.

Well maybe speaking of it but not making it to important in further plots. So things stay the same but his past is still canon.

I'd say there are limitations. The limit would be confronting something similar he confronted in his past. It was over the top when it came to Shadow because an entire game plus fractions in a few other games revolved around his past. Nothing to that extent should ever happen again. Keep bringing it up and people will really stop caring.

I suppose we could do a game featuring the return of the Battle Bird Armada or even Witchcart. A nice reference to the past. Or are you meaning even further back?

He's referring to the character's personal backstory of his life before he met Sonic. Or before what was presented in the games happened. Either one.

Well, the BBA was before he met Sonic, but yeah, if you mean before that, then I suppose. I think Tails had bullies in the American media at least, so maybe Tails could show them up, what with him being the famous sidekick.

Really? I thought it happened when Sonic and Tails decided to seperate for a while and relax on their own islands or whatever. At least that's what I read.
