Through out the sonic games, Tails had changed. Which version of him do you like the best? For me, Sonic 2, Sonic 3 & K, and SADX and SA2B were his primes. You?

I gotta say I like him the most in Sonic Adventure.
that said though, I like the way he turned out in Sonic Chronicles. He became The "Nightwing" of Sonic's "Batman".

I'd have to say Sonic 2 or 3 was the best of Tails for me. He just keeps getting younger after those games.

Clearly in the time frame from Sonic 2 to SA2, Tails was at his very best and his peek. Ever since then, he has gone downhill, but I don't blame Tails himself for that. It's basically what SEGA and Sonic Team are giving him to do is what's hurting him. I do believe he will have another peek one day.

Useless is too strong of a word. He's not being used to his full potential in the games anymore though.

I like old style Japan Tails best like in the Sonic the Screensaver art and how the old style Japan Tails plushies look, to me that's the best version of Tails as it's the only one which made him look cute, and not ugly like his old style American look and his appearance in Sonic X.

I don't hate his Sonic X look, but I don't particularly like it. His head shape is kinda weird IMO and I dislike the shade of orange his fur is, I prefer him being darker orange, like how he looked in the old Japanese Tails art.

It's definitely not nostalgia, because I think Sonic looks gorgeous in Sonic X.
