This forum is falling apart, we need a new staff, if everyone will resign, might as well destroy this forum. We need someone dedicated enough to post new, interesting topics to keep this site from collapsing. We lost 3 moderators now.

Yeah... I don't think Sega of 'Merica can beat Sonic Blast

My excuse for not being active on the site is the 102 fever and random nausea I've been fighting for the past week. The other reason is that high school is taking a lot of my free time and forcing me to choose my free time wisely, which I tend to spend with my best friend more often than not.

I am willing to keep this site alive

It's not the staff's job to revitalize a forum who's own foundations are crumbling away. It is the members' responsibility. That means everyone.

i think the rules are too stiff here. if the mods would lighten up on the rules people would feel more at ease on posting without fear of being banned etc.

I've kind of lost interest in this site all together, most of the topics here are the same as any other sonic forum out there. What kept me posting here before, was new-interesting people, who made new and interesting topics. Nowadays it is just a mirror of most other sonic forums on the web. We need to start doing something different...otherwise we might end up like Blue Stadium.

Maybe you misunderstood me, I simply meant that rather than just being the staff's job to pump activity in, it is everyone's job. Activity for a forum is posts. Members can post, as well as staff. Therefore it is everyone's job to post, members and staff. Not like we have a button to click and activity happens.

The staff and mods here are fine.

One thing that can help attract members is a new skin. This one lags a lot while loading and some of the buttons are hard to find at the top.

^ yeah I have to admit. the new skin has been a bit of a turn off. I know that a lot of work went into it (that is obvious, just looking at it) but well,

My 15" Macbook Pro has a screen resolution of 1440X900. That isn't ginormous but it certainly isn't small either. Many people will be viewing a site like this with resolutions much smaller than that. But the LOGO Is freaking MASSIVE and literally takes up the entire size of my screen - no exaggeration whatsoever.

Okay well that aside, I have to again mention the excessive strictness of the rules on here. If you want members to take the responsibility for posting (which I agree with of course) it is going to cut both ways. The mods/admin need to lighten up on the rules.

I still say the mods and admins are fine. I like this strict set of ruling. Those who cause trouble generally get into the trouble. It is how forums should be. You make the crime, you pay the time.

But the skin could go. It could be much more simplistic.

Both skins are not to your preference?
There are two... and you can select between them via the skin selector. (center of the footer)
New skins maybe coming up.. I think there was a topic made for skin ideas.. thanks for the suggestions.

I don't see any strictness in the rules either. There aren't enough official activities going on that is all... (i.e. official contests...)

I will probably be hated for saying this, but seeing as Sonic Blast is the forum about Sonic that is most popular, it is likely that people want to stay at one Sonic forum, preferring Sonic Blast over this.

Personally, I disagree. Not because I got banned from Sonic Blast, but because this place seems a lot better to me.
