The game is out, which means all of the beautiful music is available for me to listen to, oooh I love it.

Well, now that the game is out, we can use this topic to ask how people thought of it. No point in making another one.
So, has anyone gotten the game/demo? Was it good or bad?

I won't be able to play until Friday, but I'll let you know my opinions then. Although if you couldn't tell by my previous post I already love the music.

Yeah, the music is pretty darn good! Then again, I think the entire series' music has been good! The violin renditions of the stages are great, like Sky Sanctuary or Green Hill.

Re: Sonic Generations
Exciting news for Steam owners! The game is coming to us a few hours earlier than expected. It's literally coming out at the same time as the European release, so while they're getting it midnight on Friday we're getting it Thursday at 7 pm. This made my day better.

So has it been stated on how old Classic Sonic is?

Re: Sonic Generations
So I just beat the modern era (not including it's bosses).
All I have to say is, y u hardest level crisis city?
Yeah but Modern Crisis City is filled with good 3D platforming.

Re: Sonic Generations
Ok everyone, I got my copy yesterday on the 1st, and IT IS AMAZING! The way that they combine Classic Sonic with Modern Sonic is excellent, the level design is incredible, and don't even get me started on the music, just PERFECT! Right now I've completed every stage as Classic & Modern Sonic, about to head for the final boss. This game has definitely gotten a 10/10 in my opinion. Well done SEGA!

Re: Sonic Generations
Ahhhh I have to wait till tomorrow, this is such a painful wait. I'm playing each of the stages in Generations on their respective games, except Crisis City because I don't have '06 (I find this regrettable).
Edit: There is a contest. Beat Green Hill act II in 1:50 (sounds incredibly hard, my best time is 2:02 on the demo) for a chance at a Sonic collectible thingy. http://blogs.sega.com/2011/11/02/speed-your-way-through-green-hill-for-a-chance-to-win/
Also, pre-load is available for Steam owners now, get downloading!

Progress saving issue with Sonic Generations
When I went to play the game a second time earlier today, it didn't have a record of any saved progress or trophies, and the first time I played, it saved whenever it wanted to and I earned trophies. What's going on? Do you have to manually save?

Re: Sonic Generations
Hey guys, I'm just wondering; since SEGA made remixes of the tracks we all know and love in Generations, what's your favorite Sonic song in general? It doesn't have to be one that appeared in the game or anything.

Re: Sonic Generations
That's a really hard question. I think I'm gonna have to go with City Escape's song, both the original and the Classic remix in Generations. Although Crisis City and Rooftop Run Classic remixes are really good too. Super Sonic Racing as well. All of them.
