    I already did that in my Fan Fiction, which is not posted, but, whatever. In my Fan Fiction, Tails is tempted to the Dark Side by the fact that in the comics a lot and in the games sometimes Tails is ignored or under-estimated by his age or size. A demonic being named "Velocity" instills anger in him, and causes Tails to become blind with rage, only with the intent of killing all those who h used to call his friends. Velocity, in the end, kills Tails, where-in Tails tells to Sonic that he regrets h ever did any of this, and Sonic will always be his friend no matter what.


    Way too much detail, but just wanted to paint a picture. :P

    I will say this about the idea of Dark Super Tails...

    It would add a stumbling block to Sonic and the crew. If at any point Tails turns on them with something like this (or not), Sonic would be put into a real pickle because Tails is his best friend, and seeing him do a 180 in personality wouldn't make it easy for Sonic.

Tails becomes the opposite of himself, and Sonic doesn't know how to deal with his new personality and his life long little brother walkind down the wrong path, he gets uber sad.
