Why was Shadow's fur Blue in SA2, but Brown in Shth?

Eh, don't really see it. I guess there might be some of a very dark blue, but I only saw it with one very close-up screenshot.

Well Shad does have a small hint of blue in SA2. He's not the only character that has changed colors though.

In SA2, for shading he always had a blue tint in the cutscenes. In Shadow in the cutscenes he had like a reddish-brown shading.

The blue was to give his fur a shiny appearance. Shadow the Hedgehog used pretty much the same character models from Heroes, in which Shadow was completely black, so I'm guessing Sega just really f***ed up the graphics for that game.Zezima wrote:In SA2, for shading he always had a blue tint in the cutscenes. It could just be your TV. Several times I got bored and played with the picture settings on my TV. When I adjusted the brightness and contrast (not the color itself) a certain way, his fur seemed to have a blue-black sheen and another way it had a brownish-black sheen.
Now that I think about it, what I adjusted was whether or not the tint shading of colors was cool, neutral, or warm. Warm color tint would make it look brownish, cool tint made it look blueish.
But it was probably the TV.
