Yeah, I know. SEGA really threw us off guard on this one. They must be planning a really big trailer coming up if they would give us this one so soon.

I know I said this many times but I think there will be a big theme song trailer in 1 or 2 weeks? Ahh I don't know though they might show a spoiler of the.... Time Eater!

Them adding Crisis City kinda makes me wish they would remake '06, but without all the bugs. I bet it would of been a great game aside from those.
and a certain scene could be done without as well...

I like how Crisis City looks. Playing it in a sidescrolling view should be interesting.

Collector's edition being unavailable in North America makes me cry manly tears of femininity.

More bad news! News I got from TSSZ news...

It may be bad enough the Nintendo 3DS edition of Sonic Generations will include no stage representation from the Game Gear era, or that the homing attack in some form is all but a lock for classic Sonic. But a magazine in Poland has allegedly reported Dimps and Sonic Team are taking it a step further, cutting out three more of Sonic’s 20 years on handheld devices.

The latest issue of Polish magazine Neo+ claims Generations for the 3DS should include representation from Sonic Rush and Sonic Rush Adventure, but will not include anything from the Sonic Advance series.  This, according to SSMB forumer HUNTER297, who picked up the latest issue.

If it holds, it’s quite the odd omission, considering the Advance series ran on Nintendo’s previous handheld series, the Game Boy Advance.  We’ll know by the end of November, but in the meantime, we wonder if this will influence your decision to purchase the 3DS version.  Tell us below in the comments.

Yeah, I'm betting the 3DS version will be no where near as good as the console one. I wish they would make a portable game that actually tries.

I played both demo's, in my opinion the console one is indeed better, but the handheld one has it's advantages too.
Some people that played both demo's even prefer the 3ds console. You need to know that it looks a lot better in real than on the screens. Gameplay also improved compared with rush adventure.

Finally! The PC version!

SEGA has FINALLY announced that Sonic Generations will be available for PC Download, confirming what the world has known for months now. The PC version will be released via PC digital download platforms on the same day the console versions release November 4th 2011. This version will include Steamworks features like Steam Cloud, full stereoscopic 3D support, Achievements and online leaderboards.

LONDON & SAN FRANCISCO – 8th October, 2011 – SEGA Europe Ltd. and SEGAof America, Inc. are delighted to confirm that Sonic Generations will be released on PC and available via SEGA’s partners for PC digital download in November this year. Sonic Generations is the ultimate celebration of 20 years of Sonic the Hedgehog and sees SEGA’s iconic mascot racing through a brand new adventure as both the much loved classic 1991 character, and the modern day video game hero he has become today.
Sonic Generations for PC digital includes Steamworks features such as Steam Cloud, which allows save files to be stored on Steam’s servers so you can resume your game progress from any PC. As with the other console platforms, Sonic Generations will be available to play in full stereoscopic 3D and will contain Achievements and online leaderboards.
