I have a Wii. Generations isn't coming for Wii, which is the only reason why I'm upset that I don't have an HD console.

Well, in that case, what kind of special stages? We've had different types of special stages, so which kind of special stages would you want? Or maybe they'll feature different kinds?

The 3DS version is going to have Casino Night from Sonic 2.

I think you should be able to make your own levels and share them. It's about time Sega gives us this feature.

I'll likely get this game because it's a decent idea, however, it is once again Sega's excuse of avoiding an Adventure game with a proper storyline. A brand new adventure would be a lot better if executed correctly. This game will do no more than sum of the past years unless some new features are added.

The game looks great. But there are things to consider. Sega could have gone out and made a spectacular NEW game rather than jumbling old levels into a new atmosphere. Not a bad idea, but then again, they could have come up with a thought provoking story rather than backtracking once again to the glory days. If Sega and Sonic Team revolves around the past, Sonic will have no future glory days.

How do you know it's all old levels? Those levels looked new to me, just with an old background and theme.

Well I sure hope there is a congruent story but I doubt it.

I say one Special Stage for each emerald.
And no. Those handheld Special Stages were usually a pain.

You can get a 3DS. Nintendo Power has confirmed a version of Generations for it.

No. There are so many ways to screw that idea up it blows my mind. Especially especially considering we're talking about Sega here.

While I want to agree, the fact is that the crack team members of the development party who crafted Sonic Adventures 1 and 2 just aren't coming back. They had a unique mixture of people with great ideas that blended well and had great balance with a compelling plot, but whatever caused them to leave is enough for them not to come back. And with Sega's current state I can understand why.

This made me wonder if they're going to somehow include the Death Egg in this. I would cry from joy if they did.

I hope that the 3DS version isn't kinda lame, like pretty much every other console game brought to a portable.

Thanks, it's rather unfortunate but true though. Also, I never played Colors for DS, but I heard it was basicly Sonic Rush 3, and the Rush games were decent, so it might not be that bad then.
Actually, does anyone know if Generations will be available for PC? That would solve my problem immensely as I enjoy my computer far too much.

I doubt it would be available for PC... officially atleast...
there are other ways to get it on there *whistle* whistle*
If it's not comming for Wii, I doubt it's comming for PC... in fact, this is the first I've heard of its compatibility with the 3DS

Oh well, it was worth a shot anyways. That IS interesting though that it would be for 3DS but not Wii. Then again, I heard the 3DS had graphics that rivaled the Wii, so I dunno.

Sega's always forgetting about the PC fans.

But yeah, I'm hoping it'll be for the Super Wii.
