3- I suppose you made valid points that would make Sonic Heroes canon, albeit it added little to the grand story-line, but it did. Fine then. I admit it is canon. Very weakly canon, though.
3- It's canon because it's marketed as such. If it added absolutely nothing to the grand storyline but was considered a main series title then it's canon.
If we considered every canon game to not be canon due to it having weak add ons to the grand storyline or none at all then we'd have very few canon games.
3- Marketed as such? So you're saying if the game did NOTHING for the storyline but SEGA was like; "Eh, screw it, say it's canon!" it's automatically canon?
4- Very true. I agree.
3- That's what I've been saying all along. Like I said Unleashed and Sonic Next-gen almost literally did nothing to move the story along. If Unleashed was taken out Sonic would have a collar around his wrist (if they decided to keep it) and people would probably think he bought it at some store. And in Next-gen literally nothing happened due to the time-line being erased. They choose what they want to be apart of the main story, whether it be important or not. It's because of this that I don't see the harm in making a few non-canon games canon.
