Knuckles isnt as awesome as he used to be.

3- That's what I've been saying all along. Like I said Unleashed and Sonic Next-gen almost literally did nothing to move the story along. If Unleashed was taken out Sonic would have a collar around his wrist (if they decided to keep it) and people would probably think he bought it at some store. And in Next-gen literally nothing happened due to the time-line being erased. They choose what they want to be apart of the main story, whether it be important or not. It's because of this that I don't see the harm in making a few non-canon games canon.

Well, that sucks. Come to think of it, if you really look at it no games are ever really connected to each other strongly except a select few. They're all pretty much only canon in their own game and hardly anywhere else. Pretty much the the strongest canon-wise games are Sonic The Hedgehog, Sonic The Hedgehog 2, Sonic The Hedgehog 3, Sonic and Knuckles, and Sonic Adventure 2. Other than those all the games are only canon withint their own realm. Do you concur?

Yes, I do. I know the reason they set up this canon system was probably because they wished to fill the gaps in-between the main series games by making spin-offs. Of course Sonic's spin-offs have a lot more story incorperated in them then say Mario spin-offs, which are all about baseball, party games, and golf.

Yeah, they try their best to be new and original, yet at the same time appease those who like storylines. Pretty tough to do if you ask me.

I've always found Knuckles a boring and uninteresting character, even his looks. He's nowhere near as awesome as he used to be, I liked how he was and looked in the old 2D Sonic games, he was awesome back then.

Well, I find his whole 'duty vs wanting to apparently follow Sonic' edge interesting, but I do wish he wouldn't be so gullible....

I definately agree with the fact Knuckles was better in the old days. Before, he was a great character for his ability to glide and climb walls, and was almost, if not completely, better then Tails. Now, theres not much going for him. In most of the 3D games he can't spindash (granted neither can anyone else) and he's has stupid roles. I wouldn't mind it so much if he could race across stages instead of being soley as a find and seek minigame.
