"What are you doing here?" she asked, prepared to turn on him. Suddenly, she stopped herself. "Yeah...I'm okay...." she said in a soft and somewhat high pitched voice.

"Heh surprised to see me I take it?" He replied "Come lets go. Theres something on this island we need to get"

"Island?' Ash asked. "Crap, we're on an island?"
Oh well, she thought. At least if one of us survives swimming back, it'll be me.

"Hmph! Well You can do what you want I'm going back into that prison to "Get it"" Bloodshot replied walking away

"Get what?" Ash snapped, grabbing Bloodshot by the shoulder.

"Whats it to you? When I mention something you want to follow me but if I have nothing you want to fight!" Bloodshot snapped "Very strange if you ask me but I ain't say nothing."

"Just tell me what you're trying to get!" Ash snapped. "And then maybe I'll tell you what's going on! If you're lucky, I'll give you an entire story to think about."

"Ok crazy listen up!" bloodshot said "Those rings I needed? Theres one here. I need to collect that ring in order to stop Darkrah. The one I am after is red with the power of fire which I have. There may be a Sol emerald here too. If I can get the "other" 3 different emeralds I can combine them and activate my final form and finish Darkrah once and for all!"

Ash froze. "Fire? Y-you have fire powers?" she stammered. A tear slid down the side of her face.

"Hey, you ok?" Bloodshot said as he turned back

Ash nodded as another tear slid down her face. "Come on," she said, "let's go get the rings. Then we'll go."
Bloodshot nodded uneasily and they began to walk towards the prison.

"So um Ash..." He said "Whats wrong with you? You look at bit... shook..."

"Just memories," she said softly. "Kind of harsh...would you believe me if I told you that I'm a minor but I've been living by myself since I was ten?"

"Ash thats sad but if you saw your parents being murdered in front of you at the age of 3.... your life is never the same...." Bloodshot replied

Ash stopped walking. "What if you're the one who murdered them?"

He stopped and his eyes went red and large amounts of fire gathered around him "DON'T YOU DARE SAY I KILLED MY FAMILY! THAT SCUMBAG DARKRAH MURDERED THEM! He shouted at the top of his voice

Ash started breathing quickly, and she felt her muscles freeze up.
Relax, she tried to tell herself, it's perfectly fine it's fine it's fine. Just like when Will uses his fire powers...it's not going to hurt you, it's not going to hurt you. I'm okay,
Ash felt something tugging at the corners of her mind, and she knew immediately what it was. "That's not what I meant!" she screamed before she collapsed.

"Ashley!" Bloodshot shouted "Wait what the...? Ashley come on wake up!" He said as black clouds started to enter the area

Ash woke up soaked, the rain hitting her like darts.
"Ow," she said, sitting up. She could see scorch marks on the grass from where Bloodshot had lost his temper. She almost fell again, but pulled herself together and tried to focus on the lake around them. Maybe that was the true reason they were on the island.
"Let's go," she breathed, trying hardly to not make eye contact. She walked a few paces, then began to run toward the jail.

"Ash this smoke is Darkrahs minons we have to get outta site before it spots us!" Bloodshot said

"Smoke?" she breathed? She looked up, and realized the clouds were a little strange looking...she pushed open the prison door, and locked it behind them.
Bloodshot took out the ring and waited for it to start glowing, and Ash took a few steps back.

"Perfect the red ring is in this room somewhere" he said "Looks like you can have this blue ring Ash."

Bloodshot reached out with the blue ring to hand it to Ash, but she didn't take it.
"I can't," she said, walking to the other edge of the room. She sat down on the floor, then exclaimed, "Ow! Sorry, I'll explain later--"

"Um ok..." Bloodshot mumbled as he put the ring in his pocket... "Yes found it" He said holding the red ring in his hand

The two rings began to glow brightly with each other, and Ash screamed.
Bloodshot put the other ring in his pocket, and the glowing stopped. Ash's breathing was panicky and uneven.
